Dark mornings are creeping back in so its to be expected. The view looks fantastic this morning, but the new set can't come quick enough really. I never noticed it last year but it gets very dark actually inside the studio even when the windows aren't in shot.

Anna is really good at showbiz, I'd like to see her become more of a permanent fixture. Shes more believable than Kate and I just find Steve really irritating.

Funny how we have different perspectives on the presenters. I've found Anna a bit irritating sometimes (her voice is a bit screechy for me sometimes) but I like Steve. He's been away on holiday for the past couple of weeks. I think he might be back this week.

Gosh, soon it will be one whole year since Daybreak launched. Not sure if it's just me, but time seems to be moving very very fast at the moment.

I agree I remember watching the last ever GMTV on friday, then the first ever Daybreak on Monday. It seems like yesterday to be honest.

Only seen a few editions of Daybreak while I've been in the UK but anything has to be better than laugh a lot christine. Her and Adrians chemistry hasn't carried over from the one show. Daybreak has to take the role of Sunrise. My favorite morning show at home (Australia)

Dan has now confirmed that.

This really will be one to watch. None of them look capable of 'holding' the programme. Surely Helen Fospero was available? I doubt Lucy will be as bad as Katy Hill was, but you never know. Daybreak has actually surprised me on this one!

Presenters are usually a lot different on the newsdesk than on the sofa so really interested to see how she does. It could go one way or the other. I'm surprised they haven't just put Tasmin on the sofa instead especially with tonights news developments.

I bet she will fail miserably. I doubt either presenter will be able to keep up with the speed and complexity of the Libya story. This will surely be painful to watch!!

I don't think this is really fair on Lucy to be honest, all that we've seen of her at Daybreak is a few five minute bulletins, I'd say give her a chance before you write her off. Judge her at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

Although Dan has now confirmed it, I wouldn't trust that Twitter feed.

I think that Lucy's doing quite well on the sofa actually, she seems very at ease.

I agree I also think Lucy is doing quite well on the sofa this morning (although everybody is entitled to their own opinions). I know in my post last week I was very critical but I think Lucy does as JK08 says is more at ease on the sofa compared to when she covers the news for Tasmin. Yes, she seems a bit nervous and at times slightly wooden but that is understandable given that it is her first time presenting the programme. I think there is a lot potential with Lucy if she gets more experience presenting the programme. I also believe as part of Daybreak's long term strategy that developing some of the existing presenters and correspondents, given them opportunities to co-present the show when the main anchors are unavailible for instance using Tasmin, Cordelia, Anna, Nick, Jonathon etc would be very good because it would increase the audience's familiarity with them.
