I managed to get it to play first time when I went to watch it at lunchtime (at the time I posted the link) It did have to play an ad and when the first break played I was being shown 6 ads, so then I switched off.
Does ITV record the viewing figures for programmes on itvplayer and release them?

Lorraine's logo is pink, and the window panels were lit in pink.
Daybreak's logo is purple, yet the window panels are orange and yellow.
Daybreak should just make a small change to their studio lighting to really cement their brand.
Although Lorraine looked good in the Daybreak studio, (I am referring to the show here, though Kelly looks equally good) I think the danger with having both shows from the same studio leaves us with 'GMTV with Lorraine'-esque, ('Daybreak with Lorraine') which doesn't work if you are trying to achieve two separate brands/shows. Having said that, it might not be a bad idea come September when Daybreak is revamped for Lorraine to be in the DB studio as they can have one set of viewing figures from 6-9:25 rather than two - 6-8:30 and 8:30-9:25 respectively. I only say this as in terms of sensationalism, it could look good on ITV Studios to have 'solved' the low ratings.

I'm pretty certain it did, even though there was no ITV1 HD DOG and that the titles were in SD, but usually when they have the 9am News from Daybreak during Lorraine that tends to be in HD.
Does anyone know if the first part of Lorraine went out in full HD?

Very interesting images and views on here. Very quickly set up if it was just 3 minutes before tx.
The one thing I don't understand with them wanting daybreak & Lorraine to be two completely separate programmes, is why they decided to create sister brands with the logo, on screen graphics and music matching each other. It works for the fact that they're in the old GMTV slot, and can share reporters, possibly guests and news, but I imagine most people will see Lorraine as being part of daybreak.

Similar logo/design/theme = When you think of ITV Breakfast, you think of Daybreak and Lorraine.

But with ITV Breakfast being absorbed into ITV Studios, will things stay that way?

I think people are thinking into it to much. Lorraine Kelly has always had a "separate" show whether it was LK Today, GMTV with Lorraine and now just Lorraine. It's simply to continue that. It'd be stupid to just have it called Daybreak and have her presenting after 8:25. By sperating the shows there just trying to aim to a more female audience for Lorraine.
Sorry about the fantasy schedule in advance for some that can't stand them. Ideally I'd like the morning schecule to be like this:
6:00am - 9:00 - Daybreak So only about 1/2 hour longer, or if anything start half hour later at 6:30 therefore artificially increasing the ratings as the 6am hour rates really low. Could be good for them too publicity wise I.e ratings going up.
9:00- 10:00 - Lorraine Still stays the same length, just a bit later, which could be beneficial i.e for my area anyway the school run is in the middle of Lorraine currently - later start - missing the school run more?
10:00 - 12:00 - This Morning Now the shows actually on in the morning rather than after Midday! Stays the same length. Still have the News update - 11am? or just drop it.
12:00 - 12:30 - ITV News at Noon Now completely out of the way of the BBC Regional News at 1:30-1:45
12:30-13:30 - Loose Women
13:30 - 2:00 - Half Hour shows - there've got enough 1 hour shows dragged out to an hour that could easily fit this slot.
2:00 onwards - as now , drama repeats etc
Plus this way - No Jeremy Kyle!!! Which can only be a good thing!! Reputation wise aswell.
Only obstacle really is the 9:25 changeover time for STV etc, but considering they take all the morning shows - Don't they
, it shouldn't be a problem. They seem to be on better terms now anyway.Doesn't have to affect onscreen, either ITV Breakfast could compensate the regions i.e in effect taking the ITV Breakfast up to 10am. Or the pre 9:25 break during Lorriane would be under ITV Breakfast and post 9:25 break would be Channel 3 license. Sounds easy!!
