It makes you laugh as he kicked up such a stink about only doing four days a week on The One Show!

Very different situation though. One was a mutual decision, the other was presented as a fait accompli.

I'm quite surprised that no-one's mentioned that the first part of today's Lorriane came from the Daybreak studio, as there was some fault with Lorriane's studio, although all was fixed by part two. They even changed those things by the window to pink and didn't look too bad.

We had the Daybreak closing music today at the end of Daybreak! And a break before Lorraine, probably just because of the problems with Lorraine's studio but was a nice change!

If they can change the colour and it still looks good then all the more reason for them to put Lorraine back into the same studio and then they'd get the most out of the view, especially in the winter.

I read on Twitter that Lorraine's vision desk blew up 3 mins to TX so the show was temporarily relocated to the Daybreak studio. Did anyone manage to capture anything?

I absolutely agree I was very surprised when saw Lorraine in the Daybreak studio. However, I agree with Badger 264 the studio did look good with the change of colour in the LED panels and desk. It was a nice refreshing change and didn't look bad at all. I know Lorraine's current studio is modern and cosy set with a state of the art kitchen which is very 'pink'. However, seeing Lorraine in the Daybreak studio was so much better. Even though Daybreak and Lorraine are separate breakfast programmes when they revamp Studio 7 they should bring Lorraine back into the Daybreak studio.

Also during the summer, Lorraine's show should use the outside window terrace when the weather is good because it is hardly ever used by Daybreak.

I've taken a few screenshots from ITV Player for people who missed it but want to see it and don't want to brave ITV Player themselves! Lorraine's current studio is nice but I feel it is becoming too dated too quickly, whilst a quick colour change to Daybreak still manages to capture a similar level of cosiness. It looks so much different, and definitely highlights the inconsistencies with Daybreaks colour choices.

Does anyone know if the first part of Lorraine went out in full HD?
