I agree the TOTH titles were great as they seemed similar in terms of style to the current ones with lens flare etc. A much better job than GMTV's last attempt at Christmas titles which very just tacky imo. A good show aswell from Daybreak. Christine looked particulary good too
What a great day tho - the royal wedding!
Very nice title sequence there.

I noticed how the titles though were very red (apart from the logo at the end)... first the sofa.. now the royal wedding titles... have they been using them all week or just today?

That's just a 'glow' effect on the video, also the capture looks a bit like the contrast/brightness has been turned up as it looked slighter "cooler" in TV terms when I was watching it on ITV1HD.

I recorded it from a (very crappy Freeview box) onto a DVD recorder, then ripped it to disk. It's the only thing available to me at the moment.

Good titles from Daybreak this morning. I hope they do something this Christmas as it could look so good if done correctly.

Was that Adrian who was caught out at the end of that Clip saying "look at her standing there freezing to death", referring to the weather presenter at Hyde Park?
And what was Kate Garraway wearing?

I think people would naturally choose the BBC over ITV in events like these. As Charlie Brooker said on Ten O'Clock Live last week, a royal wedding is just very BBC.
The live 'strap' looks much better in the top left as well. A lot neater.
Looks like Daybreak got 700,000 on Friday, with Breakfast getting 1,600,000.

It was a similar story on BBC1 where Breakfast achieved its usual average but high average from 8am onwards. 26m, people were probably just taking advantage of being able to sleep past 7am! The first hour does seem to be the main problem with Daybreak though, it does usually top 1m at around 7.30am.
Yesterday's ratings prove that that regular 0.7m headline doesn't tell the whole story. Daybreak had an average of 1.5m between 8 and 8.30 so will be balanced out by the 0.1m that probably tune in at 6am
