Anyone notice the different logo placements into and out of the break? As good as the idea was, I thought it looked rather stupid.

I did think that it looked rather stupid! :/

May aswell have put a turd there. There's another Daybreak logo in the bottom left. Why not just dot them in the corners? Or better, not place one at all and just get the HUGE 'Daybreak' logo on the wall in shot.

Oh, and back from the break, they put the logo in the top left. I don't know about you, but I hate inconsistencies

On that screenshot above there is THREE Daybreak logos! I really don't like where this show is going!

What an awful shame! If it's upsetting you, then heaven forbid how ITV are feeling. I mean... JK08! Upset! Deary me, they must feel awful. We know it's bad, but you seemingly taking great upset to ITV not working to your taste, along with ridiculous 'mocks' is irksome. Cease and desist.

On another note, I really have no idea as to how the larger Daybreak logo in the corner worked. Did it appear there instead of in the centre in the in/out of break stings? If so, it's a decent idea, but it sounds to have been executed rather badly.

Bit of an overreaction? It's a logo that flashes up for <5s after breaks isn't it? It's not as if it's in that position for any meaningful length of time. Perhaps it was moved so as not to obscure presenters/performing acts?

Care to explain the crux of the problem or are we just to go with the "it looks stupid" consensus?

It just looks daft. It's never bothered them before in the center. Just thought it looked a bit daft in the corner, I didn't even notice it until the last second.

I just feel, like JK08 said, that 3 logos on screen at any one time is daft. They could use the one on the wall a bit more when it's used into breaks.

(oh, and don't be all sarcastic by saying something like "Oh, 3 logos is nothing, have you seen how many they use on the blinds?! I bet you're seething" -.- )

Apologies for peeing on your chips. Thought this was a presentation forum. Obviously wrong there.

Sorry for having the right to speak and having an opinion

It's just little things like that, that wind me up and have you seen the website, It looks very tacky, all the little stupid graphic and audio effects. All I can say is bring back GMTV!

We're allowed to have differing opinions on an aspect of presentation though, right? Only it seems to me you wish everyone to agree with your point of view by default?

Alls I was attempting to say was criticising a presentation device with a screen time of less than 5s, that isn't a lot different to the previous device (which I believe appeared on screen with other Daybreak logos too?) solely with comments like "it looks stupid" or worse "bring back GMTV" isn't exactly an argument built on solid foundations.

Apologies. I stand corrected. I'm always careful with that word too. Not on this occasion so it seems.

Coming from the administrator of a forum whose software automatically corrects many other spelling and grammatical mistakes, and also enforces the almost fascist policy of correcting Xmas to Christmas, that's a bit rich....

...er... I mean, I apologise for expecting at least junior-school standards in the English language of the members on this forum. It will never happen again.

The logo thing has been happening since last week, its just so it doesn't block anything else on screen. It does look daft but its no big deal.

. . . also enforces the almost fascist policy of correcting Xmas to Christmas, that's a bit rich . . .

It isn't fascist at all, it makes absolute sense for the word "Christmas" to be written correctly, and not to be lazily
shortened to a word that sounds like an unpleasant skin condition. If anything the shortened version ought to
be included in the forum word filter usually used for swearwords, so it automatically shows up as Christmas.

X and Xp are valid dictionary recognised abbrevations for 'Christ' and have been used for 1000 years.
