That account has been around since the very start of the show. Can't be so sure if its official though, the background looks like something off of a desktop wallpaper website, and overall it looks messy. Also, which bright spark thought of calling the channel 'Daybreak Breakfast ' if it is an official account Rolling Eyes

Daybreak have uploaded presenter Photos onto there facebook page.... the amount of comments pleading for Kate and Dan to present full time.... Will this make ITV make the right decision to get rid of AC and CB?

I think Not... Hope so though

It's not official! Daybreak have confirmed that to me themselves via email!

Yes because I'm sure the dozen or so people who regualarly comment saying "kate and dan forr life not jst 4 christmas" will blow the winds of change! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Its slightly more than a dozen. Adrian's heart obviously isn't in it and Daybreak is consistently ranked as the worst show on TV by its viewers so there isn't really much to lose. Its perhaps no different to a few dozen (if that) posters on internet forums whinging to TV channels about DOGs!

Whilst they're at it, they could bring back Helen Fospero to present the news Laughing . I always felt she was a rarity in terms of authoritativeness and friendliness and why she was overlooked for Daybreak I'll never know.

Its getting the same ratings as GMTV more or less, theres really nothing much in it. Christine is certainly appearing more popular in the last few weeks. Even on that wall post on Facebook, people are saying they like her.

The ratings might be OK in the short term but having the viewers rank it consistently within the bottom 5 TV shows each week is embarrassing for ITV and it also suggests the audience may not be loyal and could easily switch over. Thats quite alarming, especially as they dipped as low as 0.3m over Christmas which never happened with GMTV. On an average day GMTV was getting around 1m (including Lorraine) and now its around 0.8/0.9m (also including Lorraine), but BBC Breakfast has increased its lead from 1.4m to 1.7m. ITV said that being beaten by 0.4m was an embarrassment and that's why they ditched GMTV, if only they knew what would happen!

What's with the TV by the sofa? Can't I like it

Out of interest, did ratings for "GMTV" include segments such as LK Today, whereas ratings nowadays will have Lorraine separate?

The main thing I've noticed about Daybreak is that it doesn't seem very long.

It's 2 and a half hours long, the same length as the main part of GMTV was, you should try getting up earlier.

What I meant was LK Today appeared, on screen at least, as part of GMTV. So even if I'd caught a bit of Lorraine, it felt like I'd "seen GMTV" that morning; it even had GMTV stings in the middle and at the end. The same can't be said for Daybreak which is dead and buried by 8.30.

Also, can't they record a clean feed without the DOG? That DAYBREAK logo looks ridiculous!

Especially if it's not adding anything - in that screengrab it's only displaying the daybreak logo.
