I saw that Adrian was wearing a suit today!

Maybe he had a job interview after the show.

Isn't that because after the show they went and recorded the interview with Mr Ford about a show which was failing and needed help?

The important thing is Harison Ford's character seems more bearable than Adrian Chiles first thing on a morning Wink .

If we were talking about Harrison Ford himself, I wouldn't be so sure...did you see his interview on Breakfast? He's awful.

Despite it being grey and miserable in London this morning, they lifted the blinds on air to reveal the depressing view - just minutes before the end of the programme.

They should have the view on display all the time or at least make the blinds purple

The reason they have the blinds is so that the studio isn't pitch black - which causes hideous reflections from all over the studio and a poor view to look at. I can't imagine purple blinds looking too nice in the studio either, surely it would blend in with the sofa or look odd in comparison to the wood panels and floor?

Anyway, it's nice to see a more permanent solution, it looks much less cluttered than it did with all the panels - it'll start to look much nicer too as the days get lighter again.

The two days a year the morning skyline is golden, the studio should look amazing.

I just hope BBC Breakfast take this as a warning for when they move to Salford that real windows do not work, particularly for morning shows and they need a proper studio.

I think they can work provided they don't build the set around it. As I've said plenty of times, NBC Today is a good example of how real windows (or what appear to be real windows, at the very least) can work on a morning news show.
