How rude! The video was part of my discussion of Daybreak, not to try and show off a mock which i want criticised, the video is there to back up what I'm trying to say. I've been here a lot longer than you and know how this place works.

He was backing his point up with an idea to demonstrate what he meant, a rough idea, not a fully-fledged mock. And as I said, you were rude and phrased it as if he were a naughty five year old and needed scolding. Whatever you want to think anyway..

The screens they're using there look much more like the original ones they had (albeit slightly different colours). Still haven't seen what they're doing before 8, though.
I have to say I was amused by the comments on Charlie Brooker's 2010 Wipe that that the original set was a bit 'like being stuck in an airport at 4 o'clock in the morning'.

It's the same panels as before, just outputting a different colour, the designer said they can do any colour they want.

I do feel that after four months the Producers could do with having their heads banged together. GMTV was supposedly axed for a new show with, "credible journalism". I have stuck with Daybreak from the start and try and support it, but the presenters are being blamed by the media (obvious I suppose), and the problem is the content. What was Bobby Davro doing on the show the other morning??!! For goodness sake!!! I know that the plan is to have the news delivered to viewers, but also have more "light" content, because the show is different to BBC Breakfast, but the Producers need to remember that this is a breakfast TV show. Viewers want regular news updates, a bit of showbiz and weather. They do not want Bobby bleeding Davro! The "in the mix" section of the show is fantastic, that's what the viewers want - not a dog who can bark and stand on one leg at a time!!!The reason viewers are turning off is because the content is not consistent or appropriate for breakfast TV - when the producers realise this, then viewers may stop switching off!
There is no real news on Daybreak. The main news at the top of the hour covers one top story in depth, and the other headlines are briefly mentioned on top of a bed. No reports or in-depth analysis. And the :30 update is even more brief. So much for "credible journalism" and "newsy". This programme has gone from bad to worse. Like someone else mentioned, Bobby Davro appearing in a quiz is the lowest of the low. ITV need to do something now!!!
