They do, the into break bed sounds very similar to the TOTH bed. They just pick and choose when they use it. Unless you mean live music performed by a group.
Out of curiousity. Why can't Daybreak atleast try using music to go into the break, similar to what 7 Sunrise does?

I was hoping for that before Daybreak Launched, but I suppose the 'can't come up with their own idea' police would appear.
I was expecting a more 7Sunrise format but to me I am seeing GMTV - perhaps the GMTV team are still involved with Daybreak.

John when first interviewed about his post said he would be glad to have a chance to lie in more, so I doubt he would want to come in nearly every day and in his role of Special Correspondent. He's just doing a few items a month at the most as well as doing the 'In the Mix'. Gráinne is likewise however does often appear on 'In the Mix' and also has projects in Ireland. The reason Sue is on most mornings is because she's the Politics Editor and most day's there are Politics related stories to go on about. If you moved Fred there would be cover needed in the North West besides I'm sure Lucy can work most weeks of Kristy’s leave the rest of the presenting team do and they can use people like Fred when she need's cover. Moria already read's the news for Chris Evans Breakfast show on radio and I agree it's never going to happen. I also like Sue and I would love her to bake me one of her cakes
I'd lose Tasmin, get Fred back on the weather to share with Lucy while Kirsty on mat leave. Also make sure people like John Stapleton, Grainne are used as regularly as people like Sue Jameson who seems to be on most days, I like Sue and think she gives the show some weight, she's good but can be light hearted too. Never ever ever going to happen but would love to see Moira on the newsdesk, or failing that Nick DIxon's always good!

It's a sad thing that GMTV still exists in the Daybreak format. I just think 'why axe GMTV then?'. It's like they spent so much time thinking of the presenters, the new set and axing people, that they forgot to come up with their own format so they took an old GMTV script and running order. Do the guys at "Daybreak towers" know that 7Sunrise and NBC Today even exist? Someone should tell them, but do it slowly and softly so they don't have a heart attack

This is how I would like it to be. Having more brighter graphics, text staying up during reports and generally feel more a full hearty breakfast. Like people say, other countries get the mix right - but would it exactly work here? Well i guess its something we will never actually know.

How rude! The video was part of my discussion of Daybreak, not to try and show off a mock which i want criticised, the video is there to back up what I'm trying to say. I've been here a lot longer than you and know how this place works.
