Hmm... judging by the Facebook page wall comments, Kate and Dan seem to be pretty popular (even begging for them to be the main hosts instead of Adrian and Christine)

Those comments refer to Kate Garraway. Ginofish is talking about Katy Hill, the (somewhat odd choice of) relief presenter on Monday.

Ah I see, I stand corrected.

And then there's this Andrew Clifford chap who is posting random carp and liking it himself.

**shudders** Reminds me of the same kind of people who make awful mocks and post it to YouTube.

Is Daybreak becoming Central or something?

Louisa James reporting the murder from Bristol, Lucy Kite doing the weather yesterday and now Philippa Thomson this morning!

Phillipa does TT&B News now, and has done since 2008.

They had Lou James doing it from Birmingham the other day and the regional opts came from where she was doing the OB.

EDIT: GMTV Strap just cropped up on footage of a flu awareness advert.

Thought it was a very good show today nice to see regional talent being used we've had Pip from TT/Border , Lucy from Central, Fred from my region and Andrea from Wales.

Dan was good today and I noticed he was doing the sport whilst presenting the main show.

Was Lucy Watson on aswell? Same she has left Central, thought she was destined to be a top presenter for them.

It would be good if Daybreak came from different areas of the country now and then, going on the road like 7 Sunrise does in Aussie. They then could team up with local ITV stations for the day, make it an event.

Wasnt the purpose of Daybreak to have a consistency of faces... Towards the end of GMTV there was a very mixed bag which is why ITV took the decision to re brand.

Any ways, does anyone have footage of all the guest presenters?

I think this is one of the things that makes the NBC Today (Daybreak's supposed model) great - it's a real family and they love what they are doing and I guess that's not seen on ITV Daybreak. Also, the video is amazing, if it was done in 1 take.

I've found myself really loving NBC Today of late (thanks to the first hour being made available on iTunes) - easily better than Sunrise, Breakfast or Daybreak here. They manage to make a warm, friendly but also serious programme that just flows nicely - ITV take note.

This video also suggests they did the video in one.

Having said all that, Daybreak could never do a video like that because they wouldn't be able to afford the black and white t-shirts.

Anyone notice the appearance of Channel Seven's Sunrise Sports presenter Mark Beretta on Daybreak this morning, I was hoping that we would see Sunrise for a bit (obv not on at that time of day)

But according to The Sun the programme hit an all time low earlier this week when ratings plunged to under 400,000 viewers
I stopped reading there, to be honest.
