Firstly, if you want people not to call you Gino as that's the name of your dog, change your username. People refer to each other by their usernames as they cannot possible keep up with everyone's real name.

Secondly, ever heard of full stops? They don't just appear at the end of paragraphs (I'm referring to your effort a couple of posts up, not the one I've quoted).

Thirdly, please think through what you're actually saying before pressing submit. Most of your posts come across as ill thought out drivel as though you're just spewing your brains out without considering hat actually makes sense.

You seem to be suggesting that as you've never watched Blue Peter, you don't know who Katie Hill is therfore she has no right to present Daybreak?

Anyone see the TOTH at 8 O'Clock, looked quite good with the voiceover.
Shame about the horrible transition and the booming voiceover....but, it should be soemthing Daybreak should do more regularly.

Firstly, You can call me whatever you like.
Secoundly, Yes I have heard of these full stops (and this is from my dictionary) ' This Is used at the end of a sentence that is not a question or exclamation, after abbreviations, etc .' Quite handy when you want to change topic, sentence or when theres a long block of text. If you want me to teach you how to use them then just PM me.

Thirdly , I did not say that Katie Hill has no right to present Daybreak. I was suprized at the fact that a member posted this information with no source and the fact that the source he later provided was The Sun which is hardly a worthy one . Also to do with the fact that Katie has never worked for Daybreak before it seems strange that with the options they have that could present for example Tasmin wil be working that day. It would make more sense to have someone viewers know rather than someone just someone in.

And I do put a lot of thought into the post I make unfortantly yours does not I've put some things you need to work on in Bold.

Perhaps I should have said punctuation. Take this example:


Just one full stop for all that? Can you not see what is wrong with that? And for the record, you've highlighted a question in bold in my post,, which doesn't have a full stop at the end, it has a question mark, which, oh, look, I've put there correctly.

People don't mind the occasional slip up (like my other mistake you've highlighted, though the first one you highlighted wasn’t a mistake so it's just the only mistake really). You don't seem to even try and make your posts make sense. It's just come across as mad ramblings half the time.

You're increasingly coming across as an ignorant idiot who needs to grow up and take on board what other people are saying. Numerous people have attempted to help you, but you just throw it back in their face and carry on as before in belief you're always right.

And how you're stupid little rant is related to Daybreak.

Meanwhile it will be intresting to see what they do for the first reginal opt-out when there is childrens programming on.

Childrens programmes are only on the Bank Holidays, when Regional News does not tend to be included anyway.

Back to Daybreak, Katy Hill seems like quite an unsuitable choice. No problem with the woman herself, but she doesn't seem suited to this kind of show - This Morning or 'Lorraine', perhaps, but not Daybreak. Of course, Adrian isn't known for his Paxman-style interviews, and Christine won't be presenting News at Ten any time soon.

Katy Hill would seem an odd choice, but until she's proven herself or otherwise, possibly unfair to speculate.

I remember a similar situation back in the early 80's, for those of you old enough to remember. The BBC's flagship evening current affairs programme, Nationwide, was retired in favour of a new venture, to be named "Sixty Minutes". It was launched amidst much pomp and ceremony, yet failed fairly early on for a multitude of reasons.

The BBC had made the decision to replace experienced anchor Desmond Willcox with Sarah Kennedy, who at that point was primarily known for the very light Game For A Laugh.

Everyone thought that the beeb could not be serious. Surely this woman could never be a suitable successor to the likes of Lawley and co.

However, Sarah did quite ok on Sixty Minutes. She eventually became the programme's senior anchor, alongside the likes of Nick Ross and Sally Magnussonn. The programme was still eventually canned anyway, but not for the performance of Kennedy. It was already a sinking ship before she arrived. (Eldorado scenario.....................I.e. was just getting better and credible when it was taken off air).

Maybe Katy Hill will be rather good. Who knows!
