1. News & Weather
2. Sports
3. Lifestyle
4. Entertainment
5. Consumer Affairs.
I think I understand Daybreak concept of '5-a-day'
5-A-Day will be the five main themes which will be embedded within every Daybreak programme: so News & Weather, Sports, Lifestyle, Entertainment & Consumer Affairs.

I think the question is how can you group News and Weather together, yet the others retain separate categories?
Out of interest Schwing (sorry for going off topic everyone else), how do the Networks handle the time delays with the morning newscasts? Programmes like ABC World News are usually time-delayed in non Eastern timezones, so does the same apply to a programme like TES?
It's my understanding from the channels i've seen they show the ET version when it turns 7am PT, although they have live PT version when its a big news day. NBC Nightly News do west coast version on big days, like i say unless its changed. www.channelsurfing.net there are usually feeds on there.
Thanks for that!

Because News & Weather are always grouped together, with the weather only being a small part at the end of a news bulletin.

On the webstie tonight for about 10 minutes the countdown clock was replaced with the menu which had 5 a day slapped over the menu on the bottom right. There were 5 options to choose from.

I really don't see this new programme working. I hope it goes tits up for ITV!

Nice! I think the show is going to be great, as do most within the "Daybreak" forum. Strange that you took the time to log into the "Daybreak" forum and post a message seen as though you have such a negative opinion of the show even before it has started.

i notice Sky News have been plugging his appearance on Sunrise tomorrow as well though
I believe he's being interviewed by David Frost on Al Jazeera tomorrow too
What will he say on Daybreak thet he hasn't said when interviewed on BBC2, 5 Live, RTE and subsequently shown on all the news bulletins?
He's a good booking but by Monday everyone will be bored of him, and the fact that his memoirs are the fastest selling ever means that he doesn't really need to be there at all

Not always, and not on BBC Breakfast.
However, you could equally argue that 'News, Sport & Weather' belong together, which only leaves you with 4-a-day!
