Standing in rehearsals there’s a genuine feeling that we’re creating something fun, informative, involving and fresh in breakfast telly. It’s also great that the area of the set where Kate, Dan and me will stand when we talk strongly resembles some sort of bar. They obviously know me very well already. Though I can confirm nothing stronger than a triple espresso will be consumed behind that desk.

Notice there's no news section on the website, but entertainment gets large coverage. Is this really going to be very newsy, or what?

Also competitions look set to stay.



I probably won't be the most enthusiastic about this new show, but it does make you feel: I wish BBC Breakfast would make a bit more effort.

Wow to that set! Looks lovely! I don't give a monkeys about how pink it is, it looks great!

I thought the competitions would stay. Also, the BBC Breakfast website doesn't have news. Maybe Daybreak will somehow mention ITV.com/news since its on the ITV.com domain now.

And what looked to be a news desk, with Steve Hargrave talking with Phil Reay-Smith.

That's because BBC Breakfast is under the umbrella 'BBC News'. After all, they say 'Breakfast from BBC News'. The link between Daybreak and ITV News is still to appear.

Steve mentioned a 'bar' type area where he, Kate and Dan will present. Notice what looks like a newswall to the right of that area though - maybe the news will be read stood up infront of that?

ITV tv guide still say 09.25 as to when it Finish and JK starts

I think News will be on the Homepage( currently the only page you can't see as it redirect's you to the Coming Soon page).

On the GMTV page, there is no News subheading, just stories on the Homepage. I suppose it will be the same, have some stories on the homepage and then a link for itv.com/news



Yeah I said about this the other day, although in the press releases and on the Coming Soon website for Daybreak/Lorriane it says till 9:30?
