I thought 'Lorraine' was coming from the 'Loose Women' studio? But like many people have already said, the image of Lorraine in her set looks like it's the same studio as Daybreak as you can see the light shining in?

Possibly just put a bit of the set up and a sofa in for the purpose of the press launch, perhaps the studio wasn't ready ?

Or the Loose Women studio thing was wrong ?

I can't get these either...

Whilst the music sounds rather nice (thanks to those who uploaded them), the title music seems rather short, similar to the current GMTV.

I was rather hoping that they'd have something longer, for the TOTHs at least, as in the first days of GMTV.

Having listened to the new music, a few things strike me immediately; the main thing being that it just doesn't seem finished.

There's no positive resolution, more a sort of petering-out. It's very This Morning/Heaven and Earth (the main string motif resembling a playground chant - think 'na na, na na na'), quite lightweight, and that's a worry, that it's not strong enough to be launching a channel with. The Lorraine music is weird. Sounds like an intro to a pop song, but doesn't really end. It's like there should be more of each theme, but there's not in the titles. Strange. Out of interest, is this Dave Arch again? Doesn't seem like him as there's not enough brass...

I agree - it's a shame it's not got more of a "sing-along" motif that really brought GMTV together and was instantly recognisable. I think that idea has disappeared in television music in general. Compare today's BBC One/Two idents to todays - the music has a very tenious, if no motif. Even ITV's celeb idents had a jingle and I still believe it's important.

Nevertheless, it's the content that will bring the viewers, for which we shall have to wait for Monday.
