So far so good. Looking forward to seeing it on screen. It really is a fantastic studio and I hope they make use of the balcony - maybe for the weather on sunny days?

Are you sure there's a balcony?

There is : http://www.londonstudios.co.uk/cmsfiles/items/studiodetails/Stuarts_Studio_7.pdf

EDIT: It's no longer on the floor plan :

I'm assuming LK and Loose Women are sharing a set? Yes?

Sharing a studio but the sets will be 'turned around' after Lorraine's show. By that, I mean literally turned around.

Ah, thanks for that, will have to check out LW on Monday too.

Inspector - Balcony is on the IBM side - above the bar/starbucks balcony- LNN used to use it.

Why is this confusing? Isn't it just two sofas formed around a single table - possibly in a similar way to TOS?

I didn't say it was confusing. I was meant that it appeared their was one sofa earlier. It was james who said he was confused.

Techie nerds alert: the Daybreak windows darken electronically as day, er, breaks. So the backdrop always looks good on camera.

I'm also told they're negotiating with St Paul's to have the dome floodlit in the mornings. #daybreak

EDIT: It's no longer on the floor plan :

I don't think there ever was one, the door at the bottom right of the plan is the only way onto the roof, but that's for the fire exit which goes along the side of the roof. LNN sometimes used to take a studio camera out there but there's little room for anything else

Inspector - Balcony is on the IBM side - above the bar/starbucks balcony- LNN used to use it.

Several programmes used it didn't they, including GMTV and This Morning?
