I hear I hear, does that mean I have made it up or i would like

ok then..I KNOW they're planning 2 min bulletins...1 min of news, then 1 min of travel + sponsored weather, standing up.

Does that save them money on the regional news provision contract?

I hear set colour changes may be implemented in the regions that use the LED lighting.
Well thats a lie, because every ITV plc regional set, although not all LED, can all change their colours with a switch.

But surely there is very little they can do with the yellow background behind the perspex screens. That was previously a very, very light blue (almost white), which it may have been possible to flood with another colour.

How easy would it be to alter a yellow background?

Wouldn't it be easier to do these bulletins using a CSO background? Before the closure of ITV Westcountry in Plymouth, their GMTV bulletins used to come from a small studio with a gallery attached, which I think only required one operator.

That way they can use whatever branding they want. Even if the studio is the background, they only have to change it once and record it, rather than do it every weekday

On daybreak is that political correspondent continuing not sue jameson the other one Anne or Anna something I forgot the name but is she?

Also about the GMTV Regional news changing when it becomes daybreak i can imagine the screen to change with the daybreak logo on it but wuldant they keep the background yellow as the regional news has only just relaunched recently with that background theres no need to do anything drastic maybe travel and traffic updates included.

It will be taking the Daybreak on screen look as it's regional news contracted to ITV Breakfast Ltd.
That includes the Daybreak clock and OSG.

Isn't the yellow background just yellow lighting?

I thought it looked yellow, even without any lights, but as I've not seen one close up I couldn't be certain.

Rehearsals for the London regional news inject included the Daybreak clock and a purple ticker, with astons appearing in purple text against a white background which fades out towards the right of the screen. Not sure how final this is though - there's likely to be some tweaks before launch.

I'm not sure either, I think it's an off-white or grey colour though. It used to be a blue-grey colour.

This is what it used to look like during the blue/teal era. Perhaps they haven't actually repainted it yellow. Confused

Central's is a light dirty grey colour and it looks horrid when it's not lit up.
