I concur with all of the above. A clear difference between Danslink and someone who will remain nameless who couldn't be bothered to use correct spelling or grammar because this is just a bit of fun. I think he's added some interesting posts on here. Welcome!
yeah I second that. As long as he isn't using text speech and bad spelling, like you say a certain someone else. Peoples age hasn't really got to do anything, it's whether their polite and don't annoy other people on the forum.
Unlike other people Danslink takes any fair critisims on board and doesn't try to get in a row. Plus he seems to have a sense of humour!

In regards to Daybreak, having heard how a large number of the staff are current GMTV correspondents, I do hope it doesn't revert to the current GMTV format within weeks of launching because some viewers won't like the change and management see it as too radical. They really will need to let this show find its feet.
Oh and Danslink, I disliked you when you first joined because you made daft comments with little or no reasoning behind them. But you have improved (largely) on that front and are making some valid (well, as valid as anyone else here) contributions to TV Forum so I don't understand the snide comments being thrown at you because of your age.
Also, any further news on how Lorraine and Loose Women will work? Will they share a largely similar set or will Loose Women's recording just be cannily timed to always give them enough time to wheel out the Lorraine set and bring in the LW one?

What is it with this thread? Age should be totally irrelevant, otherwise I'd had been thrown off MHP's Chat when I was 14! As has been said, providing there's no text speak and the spelling is legible there shouldn't be a problem. Not everyone needs to write an essay and longer term visitors should be open-minded when new people turn up. If you find yourself being irritated by someone's post then just ignore it and move on. If you feel they're persistently causing trouble, use the RTP function.
There's a world of difference between someone clearly spamming or disrupting a forum, and someone wanting to actively contribute to threads. Please can we keep this on topic.

I heard the Daybreak news opts will recolour the sets purple in the regions, can someone please confirm this or is it just someone wishing they'd do it.
I wish they'd just scrap them, the bulletins are so lightweight and inconsequential.

The GMTV regional bulletins used to include proper weather and travel information in addition to the morning's local... erm, "news". I haven't viewed GMTV properly for a few years now but I think a lot of regions have now scrapped things like travel info. If so, why?
