The current Loose Women set is just awful, I'm lowering my expectations for Daybreak.
Don't - the set will look good.
Care to shed any light? So far everyone who's seen it seems to love it, so I'm more hopeful it will look good.
RE: Helen it was a mutual decision, but I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her on the network.
RE: The set; don't want to give much away but both the Daybreak and Lorraine sets are very good and haven't been done 'on the cheap'. I'm fairly sure you won't be disappointed although with all these things you can't please everyone.

Thanks for your quick response, CrossChannel.
RE: Helen; Interesting!
RE: The set; sounds good! Looking forward to launch.
You can't please anyone on this thread! I'm sure the set will look good, and as for the topless pictures. Maybe more males will watch the programmme? The problem with this country is that when anything like this happens, people always try and destroy the person- talking about her losing her contract and all that. I bet there are so many other naughty snaps of TV personalities out there, that can come out at any time. Personally I'm gonna give her a chance.

Oh, but I don't want Helen on ITV News. All personality at that place is void. Better be something good. God, she deserves it. She gave GMTV a bit of credibility in its final days. What exactly happened to Priya though?
I love new sets. Studio 7 is a brilliant space and I think the Thames River view will give it an authentic edge compared to BBC Breakfast which will in effect look cheap and tacky. Has the set got a British feel or is it like the American morning show sets? Will Daybreak be more of an ensemble piece (eg. The Early Show, Good Morning America) instead of the two presenters and people occasionally joining them on the sofa?
I can see Kate Garraway looking out of her depth as Entertainment Editor. I want that job. I aspire to take that job away from her when I'm older. I'm 15. Only a few years more.

Ok..
There's nothing wrong with ambition!
I'm sure many of today's TV presenters were inspired by the thought of taking someones' job eventually.

He just went from making serious points about Daybreak to some form of weird ambition - I couldn't tell if he was serious or not. Good.. erm.. Luck with that, Danslink.
