I can confirm that Emma Crosby will not be part of Daybreak. As for Claire, Kirsty and Dan I am not sure. I am joining GMTV/ Daybreak in a couple of weeks so may find out more then.

This may be my suspicious mind running away with me, but Andrea Benfield who is the ITV Regional Wales Newsreader (and a dead ringer for Emma Crosby) has recently started covering the weekend shift of the main ITV News in London. She posted on twitter that she was going to London today but it was not to read the news. She then posted that she got to meet Ben Shephard on his last day at GMTV .... hmmmmm ... I thought ....
To sum up my thoughts .... she is in ITV Studio's building, maybe a job interview for a Daybreak role. I've sent her a tweet asking her (you don't get if you don't ask), I have not had a reply (and probably will not) but keep a look out ... you heard it here first!

Andrea probably won't be in the new daybreak line-up mainly due to the fact they havent got any real high profile posistions left apart from maybe political editor (she does a wales politcial programme)
Also the reason she is in london is most likley to read the news over the weekend and she was there for some behind the scenes stuff today and I dont think she would want the move to london permently.

The fact is that viewers at the moment rather watch Breakfast then GMTV so they be trying to get some more people watching for the advert people

Dan I think will be safe as the'd only have to get a new sports person in, when he hasn't been on GMTV that long. One of the weather presnters I think might be going - Kirsty mabye as Claire will be leaving, temporary at least, anyway soon because of her pregnancy.
