There's a rumour that Paramount will be broadcasting all day (ITV Digital) and Nickolodeon will move the channel vacated by Wellbeing.

-sigh-.

WHY? They haven't got the capacity to be spilitting nickelodeon and paramount. It makes no difference to the programming available with them sharing a channel, evening nickelodeon and day time paramount are just repeats of things they will/have shown in their main daytime (for nick) or evening (for paramount) schedule. There's nothing more to be seen on the extended hours.

They'd be much better off adding two new channels into the spaces left by CFN and soon to be left by Wellbeing.

Why do I get the feeling now that the big changes promised at ITV Dig in 2002 will consist of putting either UK Food or UK Drama (I'd much rather see UK Drama) on channel 35, giving nickelodeon full time use of channel 39, and giving paramount full use of the channel soon to be vacated by wellbeing, only probably moved to channel 40 (it's now on 47).

Oh, and we'll loose the crappy good for nothing games channel.

Yeah, that's all I predict for 2002, except for it's closure of course.

Actually, both paramount and nick show some good programmes in the times they can't be seen on ITV D. Nick used to show the Muppets, which was great. It's certainly not fair to say paramount only show programmes which are repeated in the evening. There's that hour-long thing on mid-afternoons (or mornings, I forgot what it's called) and Moonlighting is also on daytime only... hang on, that might be the hour long programme actually!

It also shows a lot of good programmes which, although they are repeated, are on at times like 1;30am (for example Seinfeld)
