BBC Two have given a 1300-1800 slot, it looks like today's play will go well over that given Murray's match is currently 2 sets to 1 and there is still Edmund's match to follow. They've got an extra hour scheduled on the red button from 1800 but Scrum V at 1900.

If Murray v Del Potro goes into a fifth past 1800 will they keep it on BBC Two, and will they stay with it for Edmund's match or drop Scrum V from the red button?

Sue Barker says they will stay with the Murray match on BBC2 until its conclusion.

The second match of the night has only just finished, presumably on the red button. 2-0 down now so a chance of an epic comeback on Sunday dependent on the doubles tomorrow, or alternatively more reruns of Bargain Hunt and Escape to the Country.

No he said on twitter he is presenting on LBC and Smooth which is why he is not commentating for the BBC and the usual Davis Cup deputy Jonathan Overend is in Rio for 5 Live Paralympics coverage. Nick Mullins made a rare BBC appearance outside of Wimbledon covering the Edmund match on Friday Night but Inverdale has done the rest.

Coverage didn't move to BBC Two at 16:30 as Sue Barker suggested it would. Songs of Praise moved, but they are moving to BBC Two now.

BBC2 couldn't wait to cut away at the end. Sue Barker said they were running out of time for any analysis, and what for? A five minute edition of Coast at 1855.

They really don't help themselves sometimes. Just can't understand how the people making that decision think that is the best decision.

Remember that Eurosport have first dibs on on court interviews etc. So that could have been a contributory factor in the decision to move away early.
