I have never in life watched such tripe as Davina, and lord knows why I stuck with it for so long........... i need help i fear!

The show is just too far tame. NO real connection between Davina and the guests. No decent humour and most of all the questioning is just farr to mediocre.
Real decent entertainig Chat shows include Jonathan Ross, The Late Show with David Letterman and the belated Patrick Kielty Chat Show. These shows have the humour, music and chat and real connection between hosts and guests
Hard Hitting Chat shows include Parkinson and the belated Aspel and Company. In-depth questioning separated by decent of-the moment- music.
Pure-entertaininment chat shows include Paul O'Grady and TOday with Des and Mel. These don't take themselves seriously at all and is just aimed at the pure entratinment factor.
Unfortunately Davina just does not fall into any of these categories and therefore does not really appeal to most mass audience. Don't get me wrong there is presumably an audiance for this show but it is a very minority.

Yes - summed up very well there.
There's no interaction between her and the guests. Also, Davina sitting on the edge of her seat most of the time just lends the programme a temporary, fleeting air; the 'interviews' aren't even long enough for it to be worth her while sitting back in the chair.
Similarly the questioning is so timid, so brief, so uninterested - topics never last more than about 50 seconds before the guest is moved briskly along. All making for very unsatisfactory television.
The ubiquitous blue n pink set is equally bland and lacking in distinction.
All in all, a bit of filler fluff to pass the time.

Basically Davina relied on the guests to make the entertainment. Unfortunately most of the guests (with the exception of Dawn French) were bland and uninteresting - most of which fuelled by...rubbish questioning and time.
