BBC ONE's new Wednesday night chat show 'Davina' started tonight.

Has anyone any opinions of it so far?

No intentions of watching it. Can't stand the woman.

Oh come on for heaven's sake. She is hardly a legend!

Nothing special really is it? Just another ordinary Parkinson type chat show.

Dear me, It's only a chat show regardless of whether you like it or not

But that's not necessarily a bad thing, there hasn't really been a prime-time chat show for years, the last I remember is Des O Connor's, (which of course was in the 8-9 wednesday slot)

The show seems ok, Davina's a competant interviewer and it's quite interesting, but as Luke says it's nowt special

BBC1 now has Davina on a Wednesday, Graham Norton on a Monday and Vernon Kay on a Saturday

So BBC1 is turning into Channel 4, Channel 4 is turning into ITV1, ITV1 is turning into BBC1...!

It's just Parkinson with Davina McCall.

I'm not a huge fan of chat shows - and like Parkinson I expect Davina's presence on this won't matter. For this type of chat show you tune in for the guests, not the interviewer.


Any mention of her reported pregnancy?

She speaks very highly of you.... which is nice.

Umm, it was OK, perhaps even good as a first, definatly got protential as a chat show and in the time slot could work well. We'll see.

Was I the only one who thought the set looked slightly Blue Peter-ish?
