Saw the opening titles, and yes they’ve ruined the theme with sound effects and talking over with the animated David Walliams.

It really does feel like there taken Alright night and mashed it with TV naughtiest blunders, Dennis norton Laughter files and put them in a blender...
God it's awful. Why is he talking over the majority of the clips?!
Plus every single one of these clips I've seen before. Just less drowned out with unfunny quips from David Walliams.
It's a travesty they've ruined a 40 year old show like this. They've just turned it into any old cheap budget clip show. Though I'm sure the producers had much hope in it if they've plastered 'David Williams with the Return of...' on the title.
They need to return to standard Alright on the Night, you don't mess with a long standing format.
I actually didn't mind it. Nice easy viewing - although many of the clips have been used in previous editions. Glad they're still using the same theme as before.
Alright on the Night is one of those shows that makes me sad we don't have LWT as a production brand anymore. It's a show I closely associate it with.

This is exactly what I feared would happen when I heard it was to have no on-screen presenter and rely on a VO. The lack of painfully forced commentary and the presence of witty yet intelligent links from a presenter like Norden is what made Alright stand out from other shows of this type. If it ain’t broken....
