Tonight's "Tonight with Trevor McDonald" had Trevor McDonald at the David Blaine site. They were looking into whether it was a trick, the effect he's had on the British public and a bit about the man himself with Chris Choi.
The funniest bit was when they reunited Eamon Holmes with Blaine at the site, and he threw down that little note about the GMTV interview. Also, that look-alike in similar looking clothes nearby looked very suspicious.

The body double seen on the Tonight programme reveals with almost certainty how the trick is being pulled off. The clothes and the facial hair were *exactly* the same.
How they are being switched is another matter entirely - but I think the core part of the illusion has now been revealed.

I'm suprised they managed to get Eamon to do this and I am suprised that David remembered him too, but it was very funny IMO and was possibly the only time in GMTV's history when Fiona did shut up, which annoyed Eamon. I'm suprised that ITV were allowed to film in there, but every other channel seems to do so, I bet Channel 4 and Sky are getting annoyed due to the fact that they paid for it.
Plus was it Chris Choi's death wish drinking that water?
