David Attenborough has been the main voice of BBC Wildlife programmes for ages now, but I believe he will be finishing in a year or two. I've always admired his enthusiasm for the natural world. Who do people think would be a good replacement? I know that the names of Alan Titchmarsh and Nigel Marven have been bandied about. Other contenders might include Bill Oddie, Charlotte Uhlenbroek, Nick Baker or Simon King. Personally I like Simon King, but I think it would probably be best to share out presenting roles as David Attenborough is a hard act to follow. Who do others on here think?

He's really going? Good. Let's make sure he does. Maybe he doesn't actually dub funny voices onto wildlife footage, but other than that he's no better than that long-discredited anthropomorphising lie-monger Johnny Morris. I hate David Attenborough.
