Why do some of them sound live and the rest are automatic:
"Now on Dave, The Home of Witty Banter, it's XXX"

Because I imagine a few choice select bespoke cont-anno's at primetime will reach more viewers than the 2nd/3rd run / next morning run, and therefore they only employ the voice talent for the primetime showing, with the, shall we say, generic bloke at other times.

Since last Monday. They showed the pilot episode on Tuesday.
Oh bugger would have like to seen the pilot. Seeing as they're on the 1989 series already I take it they're only showing 10 from each series at the moment?

Hang on a sec, how long have they been showing these older episodes of WLIIA?
I gave up watching a while back when the same four series were being constantly repeated.

I think they will show all the episodes from each series. Since they show two episodes a day, five days a week they will get through episodes quickly.
I have seen the pilot and it does look very different from the later series. They have a terrible starting game called "Authors" which is just not funny.
Saw Ryan Stiles first appearance yesterday. Can't wait to see more of him, Mocherie and Proops on it again.

That's not suprising, when the 1993-1996 series was "new" they showed a 1996 episode amongst the 1994 week & then a 1994 episode amongst the 1996 week.
Is Slattery on these early episodes? Apparently he's funnier in his earlier appearance that his latter ones (although I liked his latter appearances)

Followed by an earlier, "New to Dave" episode.
