The brand renewal includes more than 40 programme idents and was led by UKTV’s senior brand manager Will Gunton and the marketing manager for Dave, Hik Sasaki, who worked in partnership with Red Bee.

40 idents? So every single programme will have its own ident?

Wallpaper out, blackboard in? I like the "In a Bit" on the slide...
On this note, I'm sure people here have seen it before but a good time to look at it again... Red Bee's stuff from introducing Dave. If you're quick on freezeframing in the video you get to see some of the other directions they had for the channel - including actually making it Dave Gorman's channel (and giving it to a new comedian each year), a computer D.A.V.E and a weird mystery thing Who's Dave?

Three Lefts Do
Bowls looks very Channel 4.
Simply because of the mere fact that it features a bowling green and bowling balls?
The channel 4 idents set does not have a monopoly on bowling green-related imagery on British TV screens!
There are no human beings, flying hedgerows, visible sky within camera shot, or a logo created by shadows, like the Channel 4 ident has. But there is a hamster in a ball, which the Channel 4 ident doesn't have.
