Another Scottish ident has been pulled up for questioning, This time the Black Grampian ident from the early 80s. It was believe to be August 83 - This come from Grampian studios, But the following has turned up.
You have to 5m 50sec for the endcap.... 35mins for the blue clock.
The only clip to have the update music with black ident has disappeared. Part of the problem is Grampian never really used idents that much, only really into news and important programmes.

A good bet would be January 1982. After checking a few promgrammes from this era, all have the black front and end cap etc. Blue clock was kept until August 1983.
Scottish TV 1996 ident is TBC

Scottish TV:
A new clip has turned up from Friday 11 October 96 and it also has the newer news style: The best bet would be Monday 7 Oct 96 for both News and ident changing.

Were now stored with STV the purple look disappeared on Sunday 6 October 1996. It was only out by one month, thankful.
There still a few points needing to be resolved.
* Did Grampian use the black endcap as an ident from Jan 1982.
* Actually date when was the Cake was dropped, either 1st OR 20 April 1998
* Rough date in 1991 when Yorkshire ident changed the ITV ident
* When Did Thames dump the ITV ident 28 Oct? 4 November 1991?:
* Actually date for Carlton televisions revised idents in late 1993

Well it seems Central still used LOCAL CA abiet around 12.45 while taking the London Night time service. There is clips of Central using the neons I take it there just both local and national version?

That may have been the last junction of the night - in later times I'm sure I can remember Carlton (Central) continuity until 1:30am-ish.
So it would seem Local Continuity was used until 1am-ish even when its linked up to the London service which at times could start at 00.00, ( Highlander was taken from the London feed. )
Its just seems strange that at 1.30 is the last link then 3 hours later at 4.30 opt programmes appear.

This just it seems proves what YTV was using during most of 1994, It seems TT and YTV used the same slides From September 1993 until the rebrand in September 94.
