Dull, dull, dull... (December 2007)

This is a prime example of a game show that takes itself too seriously. The theme tune, studio and graphics, even the title is completely overblown for such a mundane game. I mean, Who Dares Wins ? What's that got to do with the game? And Nick Knowles is awful as host.

This talk of things being 'on the list' makes me think of Dad's Army ...

Indeed ... and also, why re-use the title of an old Channel 4 comedy sketch show from the 1980's ?!?

Of course the show did so well in America with Eamonn Holmes... lasted one show IIRC.

Well, it certainly is a lousy title which says nothing about the show. You could equally apply it to pretty much any game show ever, with the same result. I did point this out to them (12 Yard) some months ago but they don't listen to me, after all I'm only bloody right.

Yes, but it has been proved popular in Australia. Running for a full 23 shows (weeks).
