Eggheads has got to be one of the most boring programmes on television. I have no idea how it has lasted so long. What form is the Columbus Jumbo spin off taking? A quiz show or a Peter Andre: My Life style programme?
I've always wanted to see the episode of The Adventure Game that Chris Hughes was a constant on. Apparently it still exists in the BBC archive but doesn't appear to be on YouTube and Challenge[TV] have never shown it.

Daphne has been on alot of gameshows, including Bullseye, Sales of the Century and the OZ version, 15 to one, winner takes all, Going for gold. she has been around the houses.

Completely agree - such a smug horrid show, one of the dullest quizzes around too. Also a real shame that 6-8pm is now full of daytime cast offs on BBC2 when a decade or so ago it was one of the more interesting points in their schedule.

I'm glad to say that until 5 mins ago, reading this thread and then Googling, I'd never heard of Mrs Fowler, I'm releived not to have been totally corrupted by daytime/early evening TV.
Sad news that's just been revealed on The One Show, she's citing her age of 75. Also if you've not heard CJ de Mooi is also returning and he's also getting his own spin-off.

Lisa Thiel has been announced as the new female Egghead. Apparently she's also a contestant on the series of Revenge of the Egghead that begins tonight at 6pm.

With the return of CJ, this means there will now be 8 Eggheads in rotation.

Too many. Time for another spin off series, I think.
5 Eggheads vs 5 contestants = Eggheads.
5 Eggheads vs 1 contestant = Are you an Egghead?
1 Egghead vs 5 contestants = Revenge of the Egghead
The only combination missing is 1 Egghead vs 1 Contestant. I would call it Rotten Eggheads and a different Egghead would appear each day, the losing Egghead at the end of the series would lose their place on all future Egghead shows (and possibly be gunged too).
