It will be made by Sony Pictures Animation, who are known for the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Hotel Transylvania movies. They also co-produced Arthur Christmas and The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists with British studio Aardman.
I hope it will be good, it has a lot of potential.

I dont think were be seeing a second series until 2017 then.
Ok, so they're milking the series for all it's worth - And that's ok, as long as the milk is the same quality each time (if ya get my meaning).
I've seen an episode (It's on Netflix US), and I think it's a good show, a very good parody of spy movies.

This movie has not even started yet or even been written. Milking the series, is a bit strong here. There making 52 eps over a whole year. The first 15 will come to an end next Friday and it then be off the screens before reappear for the next lot around xmas. Were not been given any confirmation about a second series, and if we dont get that before January I doubt we will see any new until 2017, bar the movie IF its get the go ahead.

I haven't seen the show so I can't really pass any judgement.
However, I do think more original content should be produced instead of rehashes of old material - it smackes of a lack of creativity.
To be fair were not reached the realms of Scooby doo yet where it been rehashes nearly every other years since 1969, where as Dangermouse has been off our screens for 23 years. There plenty of new original content, alas some of that actually smackes of a lack of creativity. We have plenty of pre school UK shows, but when it comes to the older market will.... all I can think off is Horried Henry,
UPDATE: A representative from Sony Pictures Animation has reached out to say that the Tracking Board’s report on Danger Mouse is “inaccurate and unfounded” and there is no deal in place for a movie at this time. The original story follows.

Scooby Doo doesn't need rehashing because it uses the same formula in every episode, so once you've seen one Scooby Doo episode you've seen them all - something's going on and the green van turns up with the gang wearing some horrible 60's attire that even Noel Edmonds wouldn't be seen dead in. They talk to somebody, Fred and Daphne wander off, Scooby and Shaggy stuff their faces on Scooby Snacks, get scared and do some slapstick comedy, the gang is reunited and catch the "bad guy" that turns out to be the bloke they spoke to in the first place now wearing a silly mask who "would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for you meddling kids", followed by some lame joke. Repeat for next 52 years just varying the bad guy, the slapstick and the dialog.
Oh how easy it must have been to write Scooby Doo in the late 1960s.
With regards to DangerMouse, it's hardly been off the screen for 23 years because the BBC bought some episodes to show to mark its 25th birthday in 2007, and they were still on air until March 31st 2009. You'll find the transmission details on the Genome project.

From Monday CBBC will be repeating the first 15 episodes again. I think that just pushing it bit much. I thought there might have waited a month till December and then hooked it on to the Xmas special
