This a new dancing competition with people 'dancing with stars'. As always the best ones who survive the weekly competition wins. Remind you of something? Yes it is so like strictly come dancing that they even use the same theme music!

Err - yes. It is the version of Strictly Come Dancing that BBC Worldwide make for ABC in America... The last series has been running on Sunday afternoons on BBC One. It isn't a copycat - the BBC make both shows. (The format has been sold by BBC Worldwide to many regions - but Strictly Come Dancing only makes sense as a title in the UK - as other countries won't know about the old BBC Come Dancing show - so they changed the name in most regions to Dancing With The Stars)

The new series has just started in the US, and UK Gold are broadcasting it over here.

Just like ITV1 showing Pop Idol and ITV2,3 or 4 showing American Idol.

BBC One has been showing the previous US series from earlier this year. The new series has just started this week in the US I believe (to great ratings) and this is what will be on UK Gold.

Not sure if the Beeb have picked it up so close to transmission - especially as they are now recording the Strictly results show for broadcast on Sunday, rather than doing it live on Saturday evening.

On a similar note, ITV1 will soon be broadcasting Torvill and Deans Dancing On Ice, ie Dancing on Ice Australia on a Sunday afternoon.
