So why couldn't ITV do something like that for their christmas idents??!

Because it doesn't fit in with their style?

Well an animated father and daughter dancing along to Clean Bandit doesn't fit BBC One's normal style but doesn't stop them. Surely Christmas is the one time of year to break from the norm.

A wonderful promo, possibly the best this year. Fantastic story telling and the graphics are amazing, I want to watch it on a TV to see it in more detail. I would have loved to have seen those in idents for Christmas, and the trailer endboards would fit also.

They blew all the budget on the Dancing on Ice promo?
Possibly even used most of the budget for new programming over the festive period, too...

BBC One's normal style is hardly strong though - their idents don't break away that much in any case.

i think we going to be stuck with the same itv xmas idents for a few years yet

I'm a bit worried by the fact it's sponsored by We Buy Any Car.

I'm actually glad someone else thought this. Dreading the sponsorship stings.

Maybe they will go back to this beaut, but with the guy on ice this time
