It definitely needs the crowd clapping along, and Philip and Holly introduced properly rather than 'oh there they are'

Bit of an insult - surely Phillip and Holly need no introduction. Laughing

Hey Guys,

So once again ITV decided to scrap the DOI titles for the third week running.

I've contacted the person who created them and I present to you the official DOI titles for 2018!

Enjoy

I don't know why they've dropped the skaters intro when they're about to start performing after their VT, it's weird going from the VT straight into them performing. Why can't the announcer introduce them like in previous series? That always worked well.

Awful. I'm not surprised they've gone for the episode 1 version of the titles, they look significantly better.

I assume these are the titles that were broadcast? I missed the last episode... not sure what was going on with the titles....

It felt like a time saver as they had to get 11 performances into the show. The couples basically started their routine straight out of the VT rather than skate on, be introduced, take the applause and get into position to start. Probably saved 30 secs per couple and about 5 minutes off the total running time.

They have a problem with the judging panel it seems. The usual issue of the skaters judging on the skating and the dancers on the dance but probably worse now with the new set up. As alluded to on last nights show Torvill & Dean think the same about everything so effectively you have 2 judges but the same opinion so with the head judge status sitting with them it seems the outcome will always go their way. They are an unstoppable voting bloc. Very Happy
