When you say, "heard a rumour" - what exactly do you mean?

DS have been reporting since yesterday that Gareth Gates and Greg Rusedski have been ill and may miss it, but nothing about cancelling it...

Of course they'll be there - complete with VT where they wonder whether they'll make it to Sundays show, followed by their best performance of the series.

It's really starting to annoy me why Zaraah is being put into the skate off, she really doesn't deserve to be in it this week. Nor did she last week!

No she didn't, but then it's at the stage when none of the ones who got through really did either. At least though Greg finally was in the Skate Off - and I think ultimately the best four of the series are in the final four.

Zara is a certainty for the skate off next week (I think they have one IIRC), but it could be any of the other three depending on the night - though Chris Fountain is probably the safest - and I think again, depending on the night, Zara could claim a scalp.

So it's all over for another year. The Grand Final was last Sunday, but since I was unable to watch it at the time, I recorded it and saw it yesterday.

The following three couples made it to the final:
Zaraah & Fred
Chris & Frankie
Suzanne & Matt

In the main part, Suzanne & Matt got straight 6s for their first dance. The first time anyone has achieved that on Dancing on Ice. As if that wasn't enough, they had straight 6s again in their second dance. What a pity the judges' scores didn't count in the final, unlike the previous weeks.

I'm so glad Chris & Frankie and Suzanne & Matt were the two couples to dance Bolero. Zaraah & Fred did well to reach the final though, considering Zaraah stepped in as a substitute in week 3.

Although Chris & Frankie were good, I'm glad Suzanne & Matt won outright. They deserved to win, as they were the creme de la creme of this year's bunch.

Who would you like to see in next year's Dancing on Ice? I've yet to think of anyone suitable. Any suggestions welcome here.

Hi Tumble Tower,

You posed a similar question in the Strictly Come Dancing thread at the end of the last series, so here is a similar answer. I think these celebrities would be good on either show.

Gaynor Faye (unlikely, I know)

John Valecue (from Eastenders)

Gary Glitter

Michael Jackson

Scott Chisholm (he hasn't done much since that CBBC promo a few years ago)

Raymond Horne

Kristina Lenko

Sara Jane Olson

Kate McCann

Professor Stephen Hawking

I wonder what Scott looked like since his 1998 (?) BBC Children's promo he did.

Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee (..although saying that, they're probably on the sign-up list)
