Dancing on Ice is being plugged to death up in the Manchester area already, and it's not broadcast until January.

One of the judges was on Granada Reports with one of the presenters on Chester Zoo's Ice Skating Rink - didn't get his name as they cut the report.

Also, Linda Lusardi (Carrie, Emmerdale) is taking part in the new series, and has already broken her foot in training for the show (there was a photo of her in the Manchester Evening News).

ITV have confirmed that the show will be, once again presented by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be presenting the show.

The show will start in January on ITV1. There are two spin-off shows again this year.

ITV2 will show Dancing On Ice 'Extra'-style show, whilst ITV1 will have a daily update of thing happening backstage and during rehursals, presented by Andi Peters!!

Oh, and ITV have said that there MAY be a slight change to the theme tune.

Series 2's theme was different to Series 1, so a theme tweak would be expected! Surprised

I hope not, I like the theme tune. Plus did any one else go to a Live show this year, I went to the one in Sheffield.

Is Stephen Mulhern still hosting the ITV2 spin-off show?

Actually, the music was identical.
The graphics were the only things to change between series 1 & 2, where the words became "shiny" like ice rather than a flat purple.

The start of the title music was different.

Apparently, the show next year is moving to Sunday. If so, that is a big mistake ITV are doing because it will damage it's popularity.

There was an article on MediaGuardian a couple of months ago. Apparently one of the options is moving the whole show, or just the results show a la Strictly. The latter is far more like. Can't see the whole show moving though.

So long as it stays a weekend prog i don't care whether its shown or Sat or Sun. A little Yippee from me. This will be a little a ray of sunshine to brighten my winter.

Do you usually do that when you talk to people off this forum (if you do)?

If they say something is "apparently" do you come back with "Source?" and roll your eyes?
