Thanks to the extended waffle and prolonged wait for the announcement Kyran, who clearly wanted to give a bit of a speech, was only given a few seconds. After dragging it out for so long the ending was then rushed.
Did they reset the votes last year for the second stage - considering viewers were voted to judge on the Bolero and bolero alone (not that the viewers would follow instruction), it was a bit unfair to open them before either had performed. Also notice in wake of the phone-in scandal a lengthy gap between lines closing and the results being announced.
Anyhow, overall Kyran was the best of the series and a much more deserving winner than his predecessor. I do think on the night though Claire had the edge.
One question - with the Bolero being so heavily featured in the show tonight, technically should it have featured in the DFS sponsor bumpers too?

And when the phone lines originally closed, Phillip was very careful to warn "If you try to vote, you

be charged"... and although the audience mikes weren't live at moment, you could hear a lot of them laughing at that in the background, almost causing Phil to laugh as well while Holly did the next bit!
I'm gonna miss this. It's been a staple part of my Saturday night or Sunday afternoon viewing and sometimes even both < mock shock>. It's one of the campest programmes on telly. It's wonderful there should be more of it ... I kid!
I have been fascinated throughout by Holly Willoughbys bottom. It is huge! What type of wonder pants is she wearing? I need to know so i don't buy them anytime soon.
I think the champion of champions will be a great show, but do you think this years skaters have more of a chance of winning than last years?

With The Games sometimes the previous contestants had the advantage of being fresh for the event and only having that to focus on - while other times they were out of practice compared to that year's competitors.
