They just about got away then without losing their best skater of the night, even though the format of course ensured the worst was safe. Skate-off format was very messy considering the time frame the lines were open (and if you've voted earlier, please give us your money again!).

So was it the usual "all votes still count" - surely it wasn't from scratch?

Was 'professional dancer' Angela Rippon really bad? (I didn't see all of the show)

No, they wiped the slate clean and reopened the lines immediately, closing them very quickly after the final skate-off performance without doing a final recap on all three.

Angela Rippon wasn't bad - her exit isn't really a travesty to the competition, but there are people who got through who were worse.

I was watching, but only sort of half whilst on here.

Weird they wiped the slate clean - they never normally do that on any of these shows.

They always have done on Dancing on Ice for the final when the third place act is eliminated and then it's the Bolero.

Would have been nice to see Angela progress. Too many youngsters on TV nowadays, and I'm only 18 myself.
In terms of set design, looks a bit plastic although I like how the judges cannot be seen during performances as much now, also the new seating area with Karen is an improvement. Also like the lower judges desk, Robin looks much taller! Not keen on 3 judges, would have liked to see Nicky remain. Lastly, I
do think the new theme tune mix is a bit dodgy.

It's a shame that Angela was voted out. I would much prefer to watch her than Kerry.

Coleen is a very good decision. She'll also be on This Morning in The Hub which will be better when discussing it. Using someone like Christine Bleakley would just be like trying to replace Holly like for like. The viewers like Coleen, but theres a lot of venom online for her, for no apparent reason.
