Poor old Dale looks heavily made-up, perhaps they should toned down the eye liner a bit. And what is he wearing ?

And yes, he doesn't sound well, these celeb specials where the most recent to be recorded I believe, and he was apparently ill.

Which supermarket is providing the setting this time around ? It doesn't seem recognisable, I was hoping for a Morrisons.

Looks like "Spar" because it is small and cramped.
Spar is also a Welsh word, in englisg, spare, like the food in spar. all left overs!!

I enjoyed that! Great to see this show back. I am also pleased that to see the D List Celebs are on for just one week. Let's hope they do this with Family Fortunes next time around.

Just Mr & Mrs to return now then!

I was bored with it and switched it off after 5 minutes.

It was very tacky and I'm sure the appeal of it will soon wear off. One thing I thought was that the show was rushed too much. I know it's a fast paced game show but it was too fast between rounds and questions IMO.

The format of the show was pretty much identical to how it always was, so people who are saying they don't like it, must not have liked it years ago

Dale has camped it up a tad though, and the voiceover isn't as good as it used to be

Surprising there was no very easy "Bak_d B_ans" viewers game, especially as it is now 2007 and there are phone in games on every show these days

I watched Supermarket Sweep today. It was quite good even though I rarely watched the original series. Would prefer normal contestants to celebs.

Yes, mellow DJ and QVC television promoter Gary King was not the best choice for v/o. Erm... Peter Dickson anyone? Wink There is nobody else!
