oh it would be YOU behind this wouldn't it.

What was the original supermarket they got all their products from originally out of interest? I remember the lables having "sweep" clagged over the logo but can't think which supermarket they belonged to

The way ITV is being run at the moment, SS will probably be on between 8pm and 9pm, get no viewers and be axed after two episodes!

I beleive the products were supplied by Somerfield Stores Ltd.

Hi Guys.

We are currently looking for people who wish to apply to be a contestant for the new series of Supermarket Sweep!

If you're interested, send me an email at sweep@talkbackhames.tv , or give me a call on 020 7691 6542 and leave your name and address and I'll send an application form out in the post to you.

Hi Jay
Is there a T missing out of the Email address as the T is missing from the word Thames.

I was just wondering if I could apply for tickets to be in the Audience for the show, I did once go up to the Nottingham Studios to see 3 shows recorded.

Will the new series be filmed in the London area as being made by talkbackThames?

I live just outside Epsom in Surrey although travelling is not too much of a problem if not filmed in the London area

It could be Leeds or even Manchester - don't forget that The Price Is Right (a TalkbackTHAMES programme) is actually filmed at the Quay Street studio (ITVGranada)

Hi Guys

Updated the email address - just to confirm, it is sweep@talkbackthames.tv - or leave me a voicemail on 020 7691 6542 and I'll get a form out in the post to you.

As for the location - it is yet to be decided, however there are 3 sites up for consideration at the minute..

...and as for the Audience, I'm pretty sure this will be handled by an outside company - but again, that is yet to be decided.

Let's hope it's not a celebrity version either. I for one don't want to see Keith Chegwin, Chico, Faye from Steps and Maureen Lipman's half sister's next door neighbour running up and down the aisle for charity! Wink
