Didn't Challenge show episodes of In It To Win It, albeit re-edited to remove the National Lottery segments?

Yeah. I also remember they edited the intro

They've shown quite a few lottery shows edited that way.

I used to love Dale Winton presenting Supermarket Sweep. It's quite a shock to hear that he died so young. Christian Fraser just read a UK opt-out piece about his death on Beyond 100 Days with Lizo Mzimba on the NC. R.I.P Dale. My condolences to his family & friends.

I didn't know they had celebrity specials.

They did a week of celebrity specials at the start of the 2007 series.

Has this been posted again yet? The lottery not quite going to plan on Millennium Eve:

Dale completing ignoring Alan Dedicoat still makes me smile.

Does anyone remember anything about this chat show that Dale presented? It was 'The Weekend Show' which I believe was on BBC One in the 90's.

There seems to be nothing about it online. Was it a one-off?

There was an outtake from Supermarket Sweep that was another great display of his humour and charisma, though I haven't seen for a long time, so I'll recall it as best I can.

When he was talking to two women about, what I think was something like a shop they owned together, how the shop had "no women". Dale casually admitted, "I haven't got a problem with that," shortly before saying directly to camera...

"I can't believe I just said that. Please don't show that! Please! If they leave that in, I'll show my arse to the Vatican."

It was a series on BBC1 in 1995 that was his BBC debut (Pet Watch aside) and his first prime time gig after Suoermarket Sweep. Wasn’t a hit but basically launched him on the BBC - did the Lottery cover for Anthea Turner shortly after, got Pets Win Prizes, The Other Half and all the rest. The rest is history...

Richard Marson directed it, and gave an interesting anecdote on Twitter this week (without naming the programme)...

Should also point out his Gotcha does show him to be absolutely lovely when the (visible) cameras aren’t on him. The double reveal at the end is especially mean, you really feel for him.

He got his own back in the end.
