I've looked on six pages of this forum and couldn't find any news about this, but it is highly likely that Geraldine Grainger, alias The Vicar of Dibley, is to marry a brand new character in the last ever two parter of this sitcom as the show bows out during Christmas.
I absolutely adore this show but, as much as I will be sad to see it finish, I do believe that the time is right to end it on a high. What do others think?
I would love for it to keep returning for one of specials, but the show has run it's course and I think it is therefore a good time to end it on a high.
After that awful Make Poverty History edition, I'm not sure what to expect from the Vicar of Dibley anymore
Although, until that rather insulting ending, the episode was actually quite good. The Aids ending was after all a shock. The Comic relief episode last year featuring Alice's smurf was back to form. I think the specials this year will be funny. I certainly hope so.
The ending to the New Years Day episode was the worst ending to a comedy show ever. What they should have done was have a five-minute Make Poverty History appeal after the show or something.
I hope they won't do it again this year. Or have it start happening to other shows..."Am I bovvered? Well, actually I am. Take a look at this video I found of starving children..."
Why?.....I thought TV forum was about television and Television presentation. It's no different talking about The Vicar of Dibley than talking about The Weakest Link. Some people are so obssessed with worrying about where certain posts should be put that they are forgetting the important things in life.
Sorry.....I just read that themint has been banned. He's obviously a total nerd. Gullible as I am.........I've led such a sheltered life! Please don't take my previous post seriously, it now means nothing!
