I'm guessing this meas the end of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on (Trace) Vault pretty soon. I presumed it would be the case with Channel 4's arrangement with CBS.

It'll be interesting to see if the channel remains on Freesat, where it is currently the only mainstream station in the Music section of their EPG.

I've heard that Sabrina could be replaced by Moesha, with Kenan and Kel and Sister Sister staying.

A Sky employee on their customer forum has said " The launch of Trace (scheduled for the 1st November) will affect Chart Show TV, Chart Show Hits and The Vault, which will be rebranded respectively as Trace Urban, Trace Latina, and Trace Vault. "

Seems odd to rebrand them all under an umbrella name that has absolutely no recognition factor at all. Trace doesn't even have any meaning in the context of the channels either

There was Trace Sport channel in the UK a few years ago, but I don't think it lasted very long.

I wonder if they're considering a relaunch of Trace Sport in the UK. Given that they've only announced rebrands of 3 channels so far, they could be considering it for the 4th channel.

Oh yes! I'm gonna watch that channel if Moesha's on there!

It could just be speculation, but I've heard that they want to make Trace Vault more in line with Trace Urban, which would explain them wanting to keep Kenan and Kel and Sister Sister, and replacing shows like Sabrina and Saved by the Bell with things like Moesha.

Who doesn't remember the theme song?

Starz is being rebranded as Christmas Starz on 1st October.

It was previously announced that the interactive content would be returning to Starz in the Autumn, but I'd be very surprised if it does given this announcement.

Christmas Starz is returning to Freesat, which is crying out for more music channels. I wonder if the other Trace channels will be returning as well following the rebrands.

It’s now just over 2 weeks until the iconic Chart Show brand will be consigned to history after 33 years on air. It really will be the end of an era.

Chart Show TV is one of the oldest music channels in the UK, and although the channel was launched 5 years after MTV UK, the Chart Show brand predates MTV UK by 13 years, so in that respect I would say it is very iconic.

Chart Show TV were showing new episodes of The Chart Show around 10 years ago.

Before that, episodes of the original Chart Show were shown on the Vault, but given that the Vault now focuses on more recent music, it seems unlikely that they’ll ever be repeated again, but it could happen.

I guess there is the option of the BFI, who have the vast majority of episodes in their archives, and you can now watch what they have digitised at the South Bank. They haven't digitised most episodes yet, though. And you need to be able to get to the South Bank, which isn't easy or cheap for many of us.

I do have copies of all the episodes that The Vault repeated though, in addition to a fair few otheres (I have no episodes from 1990 though! I have at least 1 from every other year).
