Ore has habit of doing that. He "took a break" from Newsround to do the sports news and has still yet to return.
Sorry to break it, but I doubt he will.
I'm not bitter. Good luck to the lad. He's a very likeable and competent presenter.
If he made his intentions to leave BBC Breakfast sports news long before the final last December, then fair enough. But it does seem like he won, and then decided to leave. In contrast to the others from Breakfast have done Strictly - they've gone immediatly back to the programme and picked up like it's all been a dream (until the next series - when they can add personal input)
With Ore gone, they've actually lost the biggest asset they could have - a winner as part of the presenting ranks.
Anyway - back to The Crystal Maze..

Yeah, they even interviewed Ore on Newsround when he was on Strictly and referred to him as "former Newsround presenter".

Always said Richard Ayoade would either be absolutely brilliant or an absolute disaster. From this thankfully it seems to be the former.
Back to the Crystal Maze, here is the latest advert and while it is only 20 seconds long in my opinion it looks very promising

What are you basing that on? Could there not be a myriad of possible reasons?
It's telling that live experience haven't referenced the new series on Twitter. Clearly a verbal agreement with regards Manchester had been gone back on.

Funnily enough for the amount of time it's been on...
And it looks like he's still got his "I cracked the Crystal Maze" gift and a couple of tokens from the dome which, according to the glossy tie-in book, was standard practice.

According to the big contestant list she isn't there, but I don't know if she went under a different name when she was younger (there is a Helen Colman in a kids special): http://crystalmaze.marcgerrish.com/contestants/index.htm
