Is there anything that Ore Oduba isn't on these days, he pops up on everything since his strictly win, a far cry from reading the sports news.
I was actually waiting for him to return back the BBC Breakfast red sofa.
I guess now that he won the entirely invented for television dancing competition, that slumming it in Salford for 3 mornings per week with Walker, Michin et all is now way beneath him?
Why are you being so bitter about someone who's got new career opportunities moving on and pursuing those new opportunities. It's nothing more than that.
I'm not bitter. Good luck to the lad. He's a very likeable and competent presenter.
If he made his intentions to leave BBC Breakfast sports news long before the final last December, then fair enough. But it does seem like he won, and then decided to leave. In contrast to the others from Breakfast have done Strictly - they've gone immediatly back to the programme and picked up like it's all been a dream (until the next series - when they can add personal input)
With Ore gone, they've actually lost the biggest asset they could have - a winner as part of the presenting ranks.
I don't think you can tell from these shots becuase the sets have been lit for TV cameras and not for the photos. It's basically the same set but a bit richer more detailed. Good lighting in TV shows is easier to achieve so I'm getting the look they want will be easy.
I wonder if they'll enter the maze through Aztec via the river.
If they brought back the small pool for Medieval to Futuristic, I'd reckon they also have the river for Aztec... unless they have done away with the "entering the maze" thing for this revival and we just start with the contestants already in a certain zone?

What like Susanna Reid and Natasha Kaplinsky? I think it's safe to say the vast majority of those that take part in Strictly do so to further their career.
I think size restrictions may prevent the river from returning, but I still think entering the zone will continue as they tried to has something together for the special. It's clear being as true as possible to the original is important to those producing the show. But the only really impressive zone entry was Aztec really the rest were quite small scale, so you may find Aztec may have been brought back into line.

Medieval and Industrial were pretty much identical save for the appearance of the exterior, but it ultimately boiled down to climbing over a door. The Ocean Zone entrance down the rope matrix rectified this duplication as such but at the expense of the zone, and by the time Tudor-Pole came along the lighting for Ocean made it look dreary compared to the O'Brien year where it looked bright and shiny.
But yes to come back to the original point, I would be surprised if the boat ride to enter Aztec wasn't present. The other entrances are probably fairly cheap compared to the boat ride.

Anyway - back to The Crystal Maze..
Ore has habit of doing that. He "took a break" from Newsround to do the sports news and has still yet to return.

Ore was never the main presenter of the sports news on Breakfast, it was always Sally Nugent and Mike Bushell and Ore stood in presumably because he was based in Salford for Newsround/Match of the Day Kickabout and working on BBC Sport programming. He obviously used Strictly to raise his profile just like everyone who does it and move away from CBBC so good luck to him and he is a good presenter as well.
Back to the Crystal Maze, here is the latest advert and while it is only 20 seconds long in my opinion it looks very promising
