Given it costs £26 to just go to the top of the Shard to look at...er... London (albeit for as long as you like, within reason), £50 doesn't seem that much for an immersive experience.

I think the people behind the attraction are best placed to decide the price. Considering the way it became established, they would have a pretty good idea of the demand, in addition to keeping on top of their costings.

If sufficient people will pay it, it's the right price.

At the time of writing there is one slot available for Team Blue Single on May 3rd at 2pm. There are also a sprinkling of tickets available in June and July (and every month up until November) as well so it's not totally "sold out" at all. November 27th has bookable slots all day at the moment.

That's just greed though. Problem with a lot of these tourist attractions is they charge what they want because they know people will pay it.

That's how capitalism works. Get used to it, it applies to everything you do.

There's a possible thin argument for that approach if public money has been used to part fund the attraction. Otherwise they're commercial enterprises (ce) and operate as every other ce does. I've no objection whatsoever to that behaviour providing that all who can pay are eligible to buy access. Tourist attractions are businesses.

It's a business, not a charity. Just save up the £50 and the money for an advance train ticket and see if it is worth the money yourself.

When you do business studies at school/college/university and you write things like that on your final exam(s) and you come out with a grade that isn't in the first five letters of the alphabet, please don't act surprised.

I suspect it's sold out in the way most music artists tours sell out within hours of going on sale and then suddenly they've managed to book all the venues out for three times as many events as originally planned. No doubt though it has sold well but it's more a marketing ploy than anything else to say it has sold out - if it had truly sold out we wouldn't be here discussing the pricing.
