The Crystal Maze

Doesn’t make sense when they aired one last night at 10pm. I notice NYE has an episode at 8pm. They well and truly are just burning them off.

They never gave it a regular slot, and moved it round the schedule too much in my opinion. It went from Friday 9pm to Friday 8pm, to Sunday 8pm to Sunday 7pm, then back to Friday 9pm, followed by Friday 8pm, then to Sunday 5pm, followed by a whole range of slots across the schedule.

The schedule of this recent run (the ones this month) especially scream ‘Channel 5’ scheduling, where they pull a bad performing show after one episode and move it to all different parts of the schedule.

A fixed 9pm slot on E4 would have served it better. It's kept the Sunday early evening slot the three unseen episodes had so not sure how it's rated there - possibly as well as the C4 airing I imagine.

P.S. Anyone know if NIckelodeon are rerunning the US version at all over Christmas. I held off thinking they might run them daily or back to back one day and therefore they might all turn up on the Now TV Kids app together, rather than just 4 or 5 at a time.

Richard is on Catchphrase this evening & Stephen Mulhern asked how he can be on the next series of Crystal Maze, to which Richard replied “I suppose get it recommissioned first and we'll go from there"

Which may indicate the future of the show!
