Seems that way although I'm sure I read pre-pandemic they were gearing up for a fourth filming run.
10pm! Is it at least getting a weekend afternoon repeat?

I'd imagine it will likely be repeated in the slot E4 are now airing the unaired episodes. Do we know how Sundays episode rated?

I think putting it on after on after Taskmaster, actually shows they’re trying to make it work. It’s a broadly similar sort of show albeit less popular than Taskmaster and it makes sense to try and capture part of that audience. I certainly think it’s a better slot than 8pm on a Friday night.

If they simply wanted to burn off the series, they wouldn’t be advertising the shows E4 run so much, in fact they could have ditched those episodes completely. Although it probably has something to do with the pandemic that they’ve suddenly appeared.

I think whether they make another series will come down to whether the Americans make another series over here again, as that must bring down the cost of production. Although there was talk of them building their own set, which should be interesting as you’d imagine they’d try out some new ideas.

The full series will be on All4 after the first celeb episode on Thursday, and they are then repeated in the Sunday slot on E4.

Another sign of their lacking faith.

On the bright side, there is an Xmas (?) special in the provisionals on Boxing Day at 8pm, that’s a decent slot.

Why is uploading all episodes on catch up service a lack of faith? If anything it’s suggests they think it’s a way of driving people to the platform.

And as posted elsewhere under their "Future4" strategy they are prioritising All4 over linear content moving forward.

Game shows don’t really scream ‘binge watch’ to me, but only time will tell how many people watch on All4.

The point is they will still be showing it all on Channel 4!

Try telling that to the people behind US TV channel Game Show Network ... they usually schedule umpteen episodes of Family Feud back to back for several hours every day from late afternoon / early evening until 1am!

Works for Challenge, think it was one Easter weekend was back to back Chase for four days straight.

Does it "work" though? Or is that just the result of Challenge being scheduled by a pedal bin?

Well like most other commercial channels, what they do must work (or at the very least works in their favour) or they wouldn't keep doing it, surely? I know the channel's lost interest in social media, web presence, content variety, its timeshift and just life in general, but there has to be some justification for filling four days worth of slots with Bradley Walsh re-runs, surely.
