In the past a lot of actors have migrated from Grange Hill to Eastenders and then from Eastenders to The Bill.

Not many people migrate to or from Coronation Street apart from Leanne Battersby who did migrate to The Bill but hasnt been seen for months.

What concerns me is the high level of actors migrating from Brookside to The Bill.

First Barry Grant, then that Nolan woman (Mrs Murray) and now slapper Leanne joined The Bill tonight!

Just how many more are there going to be with the demise of Brookside next month?

I agree that, although its the second best show (I think) on ITV, it seems to have become a residing ground for ex-soap actors. However, I think Des Taviner (Paul Usher) has been axed, as has Leanne from Corrie, which would explain her absence.I'm still not convinced by Todd Carty's character though

Brookie does breed a good calibre of actors though - especially compared to the other big soaps.

I've just spotted Susan Twist (who played Rosie Banks) in this week's The Bill on ITV1!

It's as if Sunhill is being overtaken by scousers!

Now that Brookside has gone forever maybe a few more actors will start appearing in The Bill?

Talking about the 'cross polination' of TV stars, I heard in an interview with Footballers Wives supercow Tanya (she's GREAT) that she is going to be sent down for topping Jason and gets sent to... where else but... HM LARKHALL!!!! She'll be doing a couple of episodes in Bad Girls...

That's gonna be GREAT!

It doesn't seem that suprising considering both shows are made by Shed Productions.

I always thought it would have been a great idea for Richard Hillman, from Coronation Street to, instead top himself, go on the run up north and make an appearence in Emmerdale in the B&B...
